Typical Applications
Rapid Patch is suitable for repairs to walls and ceilings in both residential and commercial construction where plasterboard, fibre cement timber or masonry is used. It can also be used as an all-purpose compound for setting plasterboard joints.
Tested moisture
performance
Gyprock wet area plasterboard products are manufactured with special additives to enhance the moisture resistance of their core. The additives also permeates the face and back paper of the board, delivering superior performance in wet area and high humidity applications.
Water resistance
Water resistance is tested by submerging a sample of plasterboard in a body of water for two hours.
Surface resistance
Surface water resistance testing sees the plasterboard sample weighed pre-and-post surface exposure to water.
